Job Title: ER Technician

Unit: Emergency Room

Employment Type: Per Diem

Shift: As needed - 12-hour shifts, weekdays and occasional weekends

Location: Nazareth Hospital - Philadelphia, PA

Position Purpose

The Emergency Room Technician functions under the direct supervision of the Registered Nurse. He/she provides non-licensed direct patient care to neonate through geriatric patients. He/she assists the healthcare team by providing personal assistance to patients by caring for the patient, equipment and supplies and also by providing clerical and nursing care support services.

Minimum Requirements:

  • High school graduate or equivalent.

  • Successful completion of phlebotomy training with six (6) months of hire.

  • Minimum one (1) year experience in a clinical setting required.

  • Current BLS required.

  • Phlebotomy proficiency preferred

  • Demonstrates strong interpersonal and communication skills
