Position Overview
The System Information Technology Department at the University of North Texas System is seeking to hire an ERP Application Development Tech Lead to join our team. This position performs advanced (senior level) computer programming work in the ERP client/server enterprise application. Work involves senior level analysis, coordinating ERP programming work efforts; analyzing proposed ERP applications and solutions; and providing expert technical assistance and direction. May review and give feedback on the technical work of others. Works under minimal supervision, with considerable latitude for the use of initiative and independent judgment.
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor's degree with coursework in computing or information systems or related field, and six years of progressively responsible computer programming and analysis experience; or any equivalent combination of education, training and experience.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
* Thorough knowledge of the methods and equipment used in information technology, including system analysis and design, and computer programming techniques.
* Strong skill in developing programs for computer applications.
* Strong skill in analyzing and solving technology and computing problems.
* Ability to provide technical mentoring and knowledge transfer.
* Ability to perform detailed work accurately.
* Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships.
* Ability to communicate clearly, succinctly and effectively both verbally and in writing.
* Knowledge of safe working procedures related to work performed.

* Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
* Excellent coaching skills to assist with coaching developers and analysts.
* Advanced analytical, troubleshooting and technical issue resolution skills in Campus Solutions system.
* Financial Aid experience.
* Takes initiative for learning new high level technical skills.
* Excellent skill in follow through to completion on projects.
