Escrow Officer position for a well established Title Company with a large book of business. The Escrow Officer is responsible for managing and facilitating the closing of real estate transactions. They play a vital role in ensuring that all parties involved comply with legal and regulatory requirements during the transfer of property ownership. The Escrow Officer acts as a neutral third-party intermediary, coordinating the various tasks and documentation necessary to complete the transaction accurately and efficiently.
The Escrow Officer is responsible for the specific duties listed below.
Your specific duties will include:
- Review purchase and sale agreements to identify key terms, requirements, and closing conditions.
- Prepare and distribute escrow instructions to buyers, sellers, lenders, and real estate agents.
- Collect and verify title reports, insurance policies, loan documents, closing statements, and other required documentation.
- Coordinate with lenders to confirm the accurate receipt and distribution of closing funds.
- Prepare closing statements, final settlement statements, and other transaction documents.
- Schedule and facilitate signings, ensuring all required parties have access to the necessary documents.
- Work with title officers to ensure clear title and resolution of all liens and encumbrances.
- Communicate transaction updates and address questions or concerns from buyers, sellers, and agents.
- Confirm the proper recording and filing of required documents with applicable government agencies.
- Maintain accurate transaction records and related communications.
- Stay current on applicable laws, regulations, and industry best practices to ensure compliance.
- Resolve transaction issues or disputes and coordinate appropriate solutions.
Required qualifications for the position include:- Must have experience with Qualia.
- Must hold a valid escrow license.
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
Pay Rate Range:
$30-31/hrCompensation may vary outside of this range depending on a number of factors, including a candidate's qualifications, skills, competencies, and experience, and location. Employees have access to healthcare benefits, including medical, dental, and vision as well as a 401(k) plan.
