Job Description
- Draft and review wills, trusts, powers of attorney, and other estate planning documents.
- Manage probate and trust administration matters from beginning to resolution.
- Advise clients on estate planning strategies, wealth transfer, and tax considerations.
- Prepare and review estate, gift, and related tax filings.
- Draft sophisticated trust documents, including irrevocable and tax-focused planning vehicles.
- Conduct legal research and provide practical solutions to complex trusts and estates matters.
- Communicate regularly with clients, beneficiaries, fiduciaries, and other professionals.
- Collaborate closely with attorneys and support staff to deliver exceptional client service.
Qualifications
- Active Washington Bar license.
- 2+ years of estate planning and probate law experience.
- Strong legal research, writing, and analytical skills.
- Excellent communication and client relationship skills.
- Ability to manage multiple matters while maintaining exceptional attention to detail.
- Collaborative mindset with strong organizational skills.
- LL.M. in Tax is a plus.
- Additional years of trusts and estates experience are welcomed.
