EstimatorEstablished family-owned firm, 100+ years in the industry, is looking for an Estimator to join the Mechanical Division! This is not a generic mechanical estimator role. The strongest candidates will come from water/wastewater, process piping, industrial mechanical, or heavy civil infrastructure environments with hands-on self-perform estimating experience. Focus on energy, water, wastewater, commercial (offices & labs), industrial, and institutional sectors for clients across MA, NH, CT. 4 core principles: Safety, People, Profitability, New Business Generation.*Apply online today and your resume will be considered within 48 hours of application*Job DescriptionThe Estimator is responsible for:Leading development of mechanical estimates for water/wastewater projectsAttending pre-bid meetings and coordinate with clients, engineers, suppliers, and subcontractorsQuantifying labor, material, and equipment costsEvaluating subcontractor proposals and comparing scopesDeveloping bid schedules and monitoring bid progressLeading estimate reviews and project turnover activitiesVisiting job sites regularly to support estimating accuracy and maintain field knowledgeReporting to the Estimating ManagerWorking alongside Civil Estimator and Structural EstimatorSupported by a Junior Estimator and Estimating CoordinatorNo direct reportsMPI does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, national origin, age, disability, veteran status, marital status, or based on an individual's status in any group or class protected by applicable federal, state or local law.
