Estimator Opportunity
A growing real estate development and construction organization is seeking an Estimator to support preconstruction efforts across a diverse portfolio of commercial projects. Job Description
- Prepare conceptual, schematic, and detailed construction estimates.
- Solicit and evaluate subcontractor and supplier pricing proposals.
- Perform quantity takeoffs and material pricing, with a strong focus on major building materials.
- Develop budgets and cost analyses for commercial construction projects.
- Maintain estimating databases, pricing information, and bid documentation.
- Collaborate with project teams to identify value engineering opportunities.
- Support preconstruction planning and project handoff activities.

The Successful Applicant
A successful Estimator should have:
- 3-8 years of estimating, preconstruction, or construction operations experience.
- Experience within commercial construction, retail, mixed-use, light industrial, multifamily, or wood-frame construction projects.
- Strong understanding of construction materials, means, methods, and pricing.
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills and comfort working with large datasets.
- Experience performing quantity takeoffs and preparing detailed estimates.
- Strong organizational and analytical capabilities.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment.
- Customer-focused mindset with strong interpersonal skills.
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field preferred.
- Self-motivated individual seeking long-term career growth.
