Job Details:

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Estimator II in Northern Colorado for one of our clients. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing accurate and competitive cost estimates for various construction projects. This role requires a strong understanding of the construction process, excellent analytical skills, and a keen eye for detail. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in the growth and success of our company by assisting with sales strategies, developing Level 1 Estimators, and owning projects throughout their lifecycle.

Responsibilities:

1. Leverage strong working knowledge of computers, MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and internet resources to perform job duties.
2. Use prior experience with Estimation Software to provide accurate and competitive cost estimates.
3. Demonstrate commitment to deliver outstanding customer service to both internal and external customers.
4. Show proficiency in the Model, Estimate and Track (MET) preconstruction process.
5. Assist with sales strategy to close jobs in the pursuit stage.
6. Help in developing Level 1 Estimators.
7. Own project throughout lifecycle and seek feedback on project variations and project profitability.
8. Work closely with the business development and marketing department on site visits to gather information to propose on RFPs or estimates.

Qualifications:

1. A minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role in the construction industry.
2. Strong working knowledge of computers, MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and internet resources.
3. Prior experience with Estimation Software required.
4. Excellent customer service skills and the ability to work with both internal and external customers.
5. Proficiency in the Model, Estimate and Track (MET) preconstruction process.
6. Ability to assist with sales strategy and develop Level 1 Estimators.
7. Proven track record of owning projects throughout their lifecycle and seeking feedback on project variations and project profitability.
8. Experience working with business development and marketing departments on site visits to gather information for RFPs or estimates.
