Prepare detailed cost estimates for commercial mechanical construction projects. Perform quantity takeoffs and analyze project drawings, specifications, and bid documents. Develop pricing for HVAC, plumbing, piping, and related mechanical systems. Collaborate with project managers, engineers, subcontractors, and preconstruction teams. Evaluate labor, material, equipment, and subcontractor costs. Assist with negotiated, hard-bid, and design-build project pursuits. Identify project risks, value engineering opportunities, and cost-saving solutions. Maintain accurate estimating records and bid documentation. Utilize estimating software and tools to develop competitive proposals. Support project handoff processes and ongoing estimating best practices.

3+ years of experience in estimating, engineering, construction, or project management within related industries. Experience working alongside Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing (MEP) professionals. Strong understanding of commercial construction principles and practices. Ability to read and interpret construction drawings, specifications, and project documentation. Technical knowledge of commercial building systems. Experience estimating HVAC, plumbing, piping, or mechanical construction projects. Familiarity with negotiated, hard-bid, and design-build delivery methods. Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills. Proficiency with Procore and On-Screen Takeoff preferred. High attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities.
Competitive base salary: $90,000 to $135,000. Monthly vehicle allowance. Annual discretionary bonus opportunity. 20 days PTO. 7 paid holidays.
