Estimator/ Project Manager

CMG Contracting is a Chesterland OH based company specializing in concrete flatwork & foundations, excavation, material hauling, and general contracting on residential and commercial projects.

We are looking for a Full Time Estimator/ Project Manager Position. This position will be necessary for someone to have multiple years experience (5-10+) within the construction field to cover a broad spectrum of project management work. Pay and compensation will be based by experience level. Many rolls and tasks will overlap to complete and oversee the project from start to finish most efficiently. This will include the scopes and responsibilities below:

Skills/ Expectations & Responsibilities:

• Estimating: Searching out and finding projects that fit CMG scope of work. Reviewing bid solicitations, plans, and specifications. Estimating and preparation of bids for the entire project to include all costs of labor, material, equipment, and subcontractors
• Contracting the project: meeting with contractors/ owners for bid reviews. Contract documents closing and review.
• Management of the project: creating a schedule of values, retrieving submittals, material purchase ordering, subcontractor agreements, permitting, invoicing, job cost reports, (AIA billing and prevailing wage report experience mandatory) 
• Oversee the project handoff from Estimator/ PM to the field Operations: Assist and communicate with scheduling and daily operations as needed with the superintendent/ field team.
• Monitor and oversee company safety and risk management 
• Responsible for the overall succession and growth of the company along with the management team (creating KPI's with the team and accomplishing company target/ vision goals)
