About the Role
Join ConocoPhillips as an ETRM Developer and play a critical part in advancing our Gas and Power trading platform (TriplePoint). You'll design, develop, and optimize ETRM system solutions to support global trading workflows, ensuring seamless deal capture, efficient scheduling, and robust settlements. Engage with cross-functional teams, drive the platform's evolution, and directly impact business performance in a dynamic, data-driven environment.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain ETRM system solutions aligned with front-to-back Power and Gas trading workflows
- Configure TriplePoint for deal capture, contract management, scheduling, risk, and settlements
- Translate trading and operational needs into effective technical solutions
- Collaborate with traders, schedulers, risk, and operations to gather requirements and implement system enhancements
- Support system upgrades, testing, and platform optimization initiatives
- Troubleshoot production issues and implement sustainable solutions
- Develop custom scripts and integrations to enhance platform functionality
- Drive data management and reporting strategies to foster data-driven decisions
- Maintain up-to-date technical documentation and development standards
- Contribute to the strategic roadmap for ETRM platform scalability and architecture
Required Skills and Experience
- 5+ years ETRM experience in Gas and Power commodities trading environments
- Strong understanding of the physical Power and Gas trading lifecycle (deal capture, scheduling, nominations, invoicing, settlements)
- Proficiency in .NET, C#, Excel/VBA
- SQL query and procedure development expertise
- Experience supporting production environments and application lifecycle processes
- Analytical, problem-solving, and effective communication skills
- Eagerness to learn and master TriplePoint ETRM application
Preferred Skills
- Direct TriplePoint ETRM experience with physical Gas and Power
- Familiarity with risk management, valuation, and PnL processes
- Experience with Power ISO connectivity
- Knowledge of Webservices and REST API development
