The Opportunity:
We are looking for a dynamic, committed educator with strong mathematical content and pedagogical knowledge, solid classroom management skills, a deep commitment to educational and racial equity, and experience working in an urban school setting. The math interventionist will be required to collaborate with and plan instruction with classroom teachers; provide in-class co-teaching support; work with small groups in grades K-5; work cooperatively with personnel from the Office of Special Education (OSE) and the Office of Multilanguage Learners (MLL); and help select appropriate materials for students. The math interventionist will also work directly with the Instructional Coach and principal to support data monitoring and analysis, school improvement, and intervention work. The math interventionist will support implementation of the math curriculum.
