Evening Maintenance Technician

Position Summary

Guy Harvey Resort is seeking an experienced and dependable Evening Maintenance Technician to join our Maintenance Team. This position is responsible for ensuring the resort's facilities, guest rooms, equipment, and common areas are maintained in excellent condition during evening hours. The ideal candidate will have strong troubleshooting skills, a commitment to guest service, and the ability to work independently.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Respond to guest room maintenance requests promptly and professionally.
• Perform preventive maintenance on hotel equipment and systems.
• Troubleshoot and repair electrical, plumbing, HVAC, carpentry, and general maintenance issues.
• Inspect public areas and guest rooms to identify maintenance concerns.
• Ensure all work is completed in accordance with safety regulations and company standards.
• Maintain accurate records of repairs and maintenance activities.
• Respond to emergency maintenance situations as needed.
• Assist other departments in maintaining a safe and welcoming environment for guests.

Qualifications

Required:

• Minimum 3 years of experience as a Hotel Maintenance Technician.
• Knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and general building maintenance.
• Ability to troubleshoot maintenance issues efficiently.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform physical tasks including standing, bending, climbing, and lifting.
• Must be available to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.

Preferred:

• Technical certifications related to HVAC, electrical, plumbing, or building maintenance.
• Experience working in a resort or hospitality environment.
