Own the Night. Protect the Community.
At The Towbes Group, we've been building thriving communities on the Central Coast for over 60 years — and we're looking for someone who's ready to be the eyes, ears, and heartbeat of one of our properties after hours.
As our Evening Services Representative (ESR), you're not just doing a walkthrough -- you're the reason residents feel safe coming home late, the reason the pool area looks pristine every morning, and the reason small problems never turn into big ones. You'll patrol, protect, and problem-solve your way through every shift, all while delivering the kind of top-tier customer service that makes Towbes stand out.
If you love variety, take pride in a job well done, and want a role where no two nights look exactly the same -- this is for you.
- Patrol with purpose: Walk the property, check amenities, and make sure everything -- from pool lighting to parking lots is safe, secure, and running smoothly.
- Be the first line of defense: Spot maintenance issues, safety hazards, and rule violations before they become real problems, and know when to loop in the Community Manager or law enforcement.
- Lock it down: Secure the clubhouse, pool, laundry rooms, and fitness center each night, leaving everything clean, orderly, and ready for the next day.
- Champion the rules with a smile: Politely enforce community policies (no glass poolside, no smoking in shared spaces, no loitering) while keeping things friendly and low-drama.
- Support your team: Help with light janitorial work, resident events, notice postings, and whatever else keeps the community running like a well-oiled machine.
- Leverage smart tools: Use AI to help draft communications, and report information to your team faster — while always double-checking for accuracy and professionalism.
- High school diploma or GED equivalent
- 2+ years in hospitality, customer service, sales, or security
- Working knowledge of Fair Housing and related state/federal laws
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, including basic Microsoft Office use
- Ability to walk the property (including stairs) throughout the shift to complete inspections and deliver communications
- Reliable shift availability:
- Sunday 2:00 AM - 11:00 PM, Monday - Tuesday 5:30PM - 11:00 PM
- Wednesday–Saturday, 5:30 PM–11:00 PM
This role involves regular walking, standing, and light physical activity, including occasional bending, kneeling, and lifting up to 25 lbs. Reasonable accommodations are available for individuals with disabilities.
Why You'll Love Working Here
- Competitive pay — $20.00/hour to start
- 401(k) with a generous company match
- Paid sick time
- Local Coastal Housing Partnership benefits
- A supportive, high-performance culture built on Community, Integrity, and Quality
