What You'll Be Doing
- Assist in performing mechanical maintenance on plant equipment.
- Conduct routine inspections and basic troubleshooting of machinery.
- Support repairs by using hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment.
- Follow all safety procedures and maintain a clean, organized work area.
- Collaborate with senior mechanics to learn repair techniques and best practices.
What We Are Looking For
- Mechanical aptitude with interest in developing maintenance skills.
- Ability to safely use basic tools and follow detailed instructions.
- Strong commitment to safety and teamwork.
- Problem-solving mindset with willingness to learn and adapt.
- Ability to perform physical tasks including lifting, bending, and working in varied conditions.
Conditions of Employment
- Successful candidate must submit to post-offer pre-employment physical examination, drug/alcohol screen, and background check.
- Must comply with all company policies and procedures.
Work Environment
- Role operates primarily in environments where the conditions include moving mechanical equipment, inclement weather, heat, cold, humidity, and elevated noise level.
