About Action Medical Film and Event Medics

Action Medical Film and Event Medics provides on-site medical support for special events, film productions, and other scheduled activities. Our medical professionals help maintain safe environments for event attendees, production crews, performers, and staff while delivering dependable emergency medical care when needed.

We are seeking qualified, dependable Emergency Medical Technicians (EMTs) to join our Denver-area team.

This is an opportunity for EMTs who enjoy working in different environments, interacting with diverse groups of people, and providing essential medical coverage outside of a traditional ambulance or clinical setting.

Compensation & Scheduling

• Starting compensation of $21.00–$24.00 per hour, based on qualifications and experience.
• Event-based assignments scheduled according to client bookings and production needs.
• Hours and assignment availability will vary.
• Consistent weekly hours are not guaranteed.
• Assignments may include special events, film sets, and other production environments.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide on-site medical standby coverage during events, productions, and filming activities.
• Respond promptly to injuries, illnesses, and other medical concerns.
• Perform patient assessments and provide basic life support within the EMT scope of practice.
• Assist with bleeding control, splinting, and emergency scene management.
• Conduct proactive safety checks and identify potential hazards.
• Maintain medical equipment, personal protective equipment, and readiness for emergency response.
• Coordinate with supervising medical personnel and emergency response agencies when necessary.
• Complete accurate Patient Care Reports (PCRs) and required incident documentation.
• Maintain confidentiality regarding patients, event participants, cast members, and production activities.
• Communicate professionally with event organizers, production staff, and fellow medical personnel.

Qualifications

• Current State of Colorado EMT certification required.
• Active CPR/BLS certification through the American Heart Association or equivalent required.
• National Registry of Emergency Medical Technicians (NREMT) certification preferred.
• Demonstrated knowledge of basic life support, patient assessment, bleeding control, and emergency scene management.
• Ability to remain calm and make sound decisions during emergencies.
• Strong communication skills and professional demeanor.
• Ability to work independently while following established medical and safety protocols.
• Commitment to maintaining required continuing education and certifications.
• Dependable attendance and ability to fulfill accepted assignments.

Additional Expectations

Team members must arrive prepared for assigned shifts, wear required company uniforms and identification, maintain accurate timekeeping records, and follow company communication and reporting procedures.

Participation in required monthly company training and quarterly performance reviews is expected.
