What You Will Be Doing
 As an Event Marketer, you will be out in the community at home shows, local events, pop-ups, and partner locations, connecting with homeowners and creating real conversations.
Your role is simple but powerful: turn everyday interactions with homeowners into booked appointments.

• Represent our brand at home shows, local events, and community spaces
• Engage with homeowners in a friendly, confident, and natural way
• Start conversations and build quick rapport
• Explain our home services in a clear and engaging way
• Book in-home appointments on the spot with interested homeowners
• Capture lead information accurately
• Create a positive, memorable experience for every interaction
• Set up and tear down events
• Prepare materials and displays for events

What We Are Looking For

• Experience doing event marketing, canvassing, or appointment setting for home services companies (solar, mitigation, roofing, plumbing, HVAC, windows, siding, or similar)
• Outgoing, talkative, and confident personality
• Comfortable approaching homeowners and speaking to new people
• Positive, energetic, and self-motivated
• Strong communication, organizational, and people skills
• Adaptable in fast-paced public environments
• Enjoys being out in the field, not behind a desk

Requirements

• Valid driver’s license
• Reliable personal vehicle
• Willingness to travel to event locations across Chicagoland
• Availability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends
• Comfortable working outdoors or indoors in public-facing environments

Nice to Have

• A track record of hitting appointment or lead targets
• Experience with home shows or retail partner events (Home Depot, Costco, Menards, etc.)
• Background in sales, promotions, or customer service
• Interest in building a long-term career in marketing

First 30 Days

• Learn the brand, messaging, and approach
• Get comfortable engaging with homeowners at our events
• Start booking your first appointments

60 to 90 Days

• Consistently hit appointment targets
• Confidently run events on your own
• Become a strong, reliable presence in the field
