Position Summary
We are seeking a reliable Event Setup Assistant to help prepare venues, arrange equipment, organize promotional materials, and support event logistics. The ideal candidate is practical, attentive to detail, and comfortable working in a hands-on environment where priorities may change as event preparations progress.
Responsibilities
Prepare event spaces according to assigned layouts and setup instructions.
Arrange tables, chairs, displays, signage, and promotional materials as required.
Receive, organize, and transport event supplies to designated areas.
Check that necessary materials and equipment are available before activities begin.
Assist with maintaining clean, orderly, and presentable event spaces.
Communicate setup progress and supply needs to event coordinators.
Help troubleshoot routine setup issues and report equipment concerns.
Assist with dismantling displays, packing materials, and returning supplies after events.
Follow handling instructions and applicable workplace safety procedures.
Work collaboratively with event staff to complete setup tasks on schedule.
