Summary
At TFC, we believe in perfectly planned and exciting events, and in the ones that break the mold. We are looking for an experienced and innovative Events & Brand Experience Manager with the drive and enthusiasm to bring bold tradeshow, exhibit, and brand activation events to life. The environment is fast-paced, energetic, and highly collaborative.
As Events & Brand Experience Manager, you will build brand equity through standout event experiences and promote our culture and values. This role will primarily support the Freeman and Studio Blue brands, with opportunities to flex into other brands under The Freeman Company (TFC) as business needs evolve. You will partner closely with stakeholders across Marketing, Sales, Communications, and Operations to bring tradeshow and booth experiences, activations, and experiential events to life and achieve organizational goals.
We are not looking for a copy-and-paste event planner. The ideal candidate is a go-getter who takes initiative, spots opportunities before being asked, and thinks outside the box to create experiences people remember, whether that is a high-impact tradeshow booth, a surprise-and-delight activation, or an experiential event built from a blank page.
This position will support our Marketing team. It is eligible to work a hybrid schedule, generally requiring work in-office and/or show-site 2-3 days per week. This position is based out of our North Dallas office in Dallas, TX.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
+ Support the planning and execution of a range of events, including tradeshow and exhibit programs, VIP and customer experiences, internal leadership events, senior executive dinners or speaking engagements.
+ Ability to work cross-functionally as an events producer to manage booth strategy, design and build coordination, logistics, onsite management, and teardown, ensuring each presence delivers on key messaging and brand goals.
+ Conceptualize and deliver activations and experiential events, such as VIP and customer experiences, brand pop-ups, and interactive or immersive moments, that go beyond the standard event format.
+ Manage all aspects of event planning and execution, including budget management, contracts, vendor relationships, logistics, room blocks, T&E, and onsite coordination.
+ Take initiative and ownership: proactively identify opportunities, bring fresh ideas and creative solutions to the table that drive projects forward.
+ Work closely with cross-functional teams, including marketing, creative, and sales, to ensure seamless integration of event initiatives and alignment with overall business objectives.
+ Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics to evaluate the success of events and activations, providing insights and recommendations for continuous improvement.
+ Communicate effectively across all levels of the company with emphasis on high-touch customer service, relationship building, and stakeholder alignment, staying positive and solutions-oriented under tight deadlines and shifting priorities.
+ Prepare event briefs, debriefs, and financial reporting on data-driven results.
+ Support internal executive-level events, including planning, logistics, and onsite coordination, delivering polished, high-touch experiences for senior leaders.
+ Stay abreast of industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies in tradeshows, activations, and experiential events, incorporating innovative approaches into event plans.
Education & Experience
+ Minimum 3-5 years Event Management experience, including hands-on tradeshow/booth and activation or experiential event work.
+ Bachelor’s degree from an accredited four year college or university with a concentration in business, marketing, communications, or a related field is requried.
+ A creative, outside-the-box thinker with examples of work that went beyond the standard event format.
+ Proven track record for successfully planning and executing events from conception to completion.
+ Positive, resilient attitude with the ability to stay calm and solutions-focused under pressure.
+ Excellent communication & interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships and collaborate with stakeholders at all levels.
+ Strong project management skills with a high level of attention to detail and quality.
+ Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment and to flex between multiple brands and audiences.
