EVP Finance

A boutique real estate investment and development firm with a presence in Los Angeles and Chicago is seeking an Executive Vice President of Investments & Finance to join its leadership team. This executive will oversee investment strategy, capital raising, financial structuring, and transaction execution across a growing multifamily portfolio.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead financial modeling, underwriting, and investment analysis across development projects and funds.

• Oversee acquisitions, dispositions, financing, refinancing, and transaction closings.

• Structure complex debt and equity investments, joint ventures, and partnership waterfalls.

• Drive fundraising efforts and maintain relationships with institutional investors, lenders, and capital partners.

• Manage fund-level forecasting, capital planning, investor reporting, and financial performance.

• Partner with development and asset management teams to optimize investment returns.

• Oversee capital calls, distributions, fund administration, and third-party financial partners.

• Collaborate with executive leadership on investment opportunities and long-term growth initiatives.

Qualifications

• 15 20+ years of experience in real estate private equity, investment banking, institutional real estate, or development.

• Strong background in multifamily investments, development, and fund management.

• Expertise in financial modeling, capital markets, investment structuring, and transaction execution.

• Established relationships with institutional investors, lenders, and equity partners.

• Proven experience raising capital and executing complex real estate transactions.

• Bachelor's degree required; MBA or Master's in Real Estate or Finance preferred.

• Entrepreneurial mindset with strong leadership, analytical, and negotiation skills.
