EVS Event Tech

Job Summary:

Exhibits strong communication skills; answers guest questions and Interacts constantly with guests. Physical demands include constant walking, standing for extended periods, pulling/pushing, repetitive sweeping motion, and lifting trash can liners that may weigh 30‐50 lbs.; high guest interaction while working independently; extensive cleaning including restrooms and toilets; working with cleaning chemicals and equipment; bussing tables and helping to set‐up rooms; sweeping and mopping; emptying trash cans, lifting heavy garbage bags; picking up debris, vacuuming, dusting, and cleaning conference rooms; and providing excellent service to guests. May assist with coat check and directing guest to the right locations.

Education:

Must have a High School diploma or GED. Those hired prior to 1/1/2012, may qualify under the previous requirements of completion of the eighth grade.

License & Cert:

Addendums are required for 0153 Nurse Leader, 0249 Registry RN, 0252 Registered Nurse, 0235 Advanced Registered Nurse, and 0236 Expert Registered Nurse. To view addendums, go to the job description page on Parkview's intranet.

Experience:

Minimum of 3 year experience in the Environmental Services or customer service field. Prefer 1 ‐ 2 years of related event set‐up or housekeeping experience.

Other Qualifications:

Must have a strong working knowledge of various floor care maintenance procedures including terrazzo cleaning and restoration. Basic computer skills required. Must be able to lift 75 pounds and push/pull up to 300 pounds. Must be willing to work flex hours in coordination with event schedule.
