Job Summary
ELLET SIGN COMPANY is seeking to hire a mason/excavator to operate heavy equipment and worksite operations through manual labor, following architectural plans and guidance to ensure the job is properly completed. The ideal candidate has previous construction experience, a hard worker with the ability to meet the physical demands of the job.  
 
Responsibilities 

• Operate a variety of machinery, such as excavator, auger, backhoe, bobcat plus any power tools or other industrial equipment as per job specifications
• Work closely with all employees on the job site and help as needed to keep the project running on schedule
• Follow all necessary safety standards to avoid pipes, wires, and lines – working with GPRS
• Strong attention to detail
• Prepare and install rebar or reinforcing wire, anchor bolts etc. and welding when necessary
• Pour and finish concrete in forms according to specifications
• Handle County Inspections at jobsite
• Wear hard hat, steel-toed boots, gloves and any other PPE required
• Calculate amount of concrete to be ordered per job site

Qualifications

• Pass pre-employment and random drug testing (Zero tolerance, drug-free workplace)
• Must have valid driver's license, CDL helpful
• Previous experience working in a construction environment desired
• Strong communication skills with sales staff on projects
• The ability to work well within a team environment
• The ability to work in all weather conditions
• Must be dependable, punctual and willing to work overtime and possibly out of town

 
Monday – Friday normal business hours 8:00 am to 4:30 pm with possible starting time 7:00 am                                          Bi-weekly payroll with direct deposit only.
