Excavator Operator
Full-Time in Winston-Salem, NC - TSG - $25.00 - $30.00 / hr
We are actively seeking a Excavator Operator to work with us in the Winston-Salem, NC area to support stream restoration projects.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
- Communicate professionally with supervisors and teammates
- Understand, interpret, and follow goals and directions from foreman or superintendent.
- Maintain cleanliness of all equipment.
- Attend work regularly during assigned work hours or any other schedule as required.
- Willingness to work overtime or on Saturdays as needed.
- Willingness to travel out of state.
Other Duties & Responsibilities:
- Assist with other tasks as needed, including supporting other roles on the crew.
Experience & Requirements:
- At least two years of experience operating excavators
- GPS System experience required
- Ability to read and understand grade stakes.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively with supervisors and teammates.
- Reliable transportation.
- Ability to pass a pre-employment drug test and background screening.
- Must be 18 years of age or older.
Physical Demands:
- Able to stand/sit for extended periods, as well as stoop, kneel, walk, bend, crouch, lift, and crawl.
- Able to climb on and off equipment safely.
- Able to lift 40-80 lbs regularly.
- Comfortable working outdoors in varying weather conditions.
- Able to use hands, arms, and feet for repetitive lifting and carrying of materials.
