Do you thrive in a fast-paced, goal-focused environment? Are you always looking around corners and anticipating needs? AWS Fintech is looking for a well organized and self-motivated Executive Assistant to support leaders in AWS Fintech.

You will have a strong attention to detail, and you are an experienced planner with a proven track record of meeting tight deadlines. A high level of integrity and discretion handling confidential information, and professionalism in dealing with leaders is also important, as is the ability to be flexible and change direction seamlessly.

You will be comfortable navigating ambiguity, and managing a high volume of tasks with minimal guidance or supervision. You must demonstrate strong organizational skills, effective prioritization, and timeliness, while also serving as a "go-to" resource for all members of this extended team. As the Executive Assistant for two leaders, in a matrixed organization, you will be expected to play

a leadership role, to think and plan ahead, delegate responsibilities appropriately and manage time effectively, all while maintaining a positive, service-oriented attitude.

This role requires five (5) days a week in office.

Key job responsibilities

Key job responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Manage complex calendars and scheduling with diplomacy and discretion.
  • Organize, prioritize and appropriately handle time-sensitive, confidential information and ensure action required is addressed in a timely manner.
  • Organize, execute, and assist with team activities (staff meeting agendas, on-sites/off-sites, team social events, etc.).
  • Schedule cost effective air/hotel/ground transportation.
  • Create detailed travel itineraries both domestic and international (including smooth transitions between time zones).
  • Coordinate with in-house travel agents and manage international travel process.
  • Submit expense reports in a timely fashion.
  • Coordinate closely with Recruiting teams, Facilities team, HR team, and other Executive Assistants within the Amazon community.
  • Track and help drive completion of key deliverables, and document meeting notes and action items.
