    Description

    We are looking for a dedicated, resourceful, and customer-obsessed Executive Assistant to support multiple Directors in Global Deal Strategy and Programs (GDSP) and work with a multi-functional, global team. This role requires attention to detail, solid organizational skills, and the ability to meet tight deadlines while juggling multiple critical requests across global teams. The Executive Assistant will act as a seamless extension of their leaders and will work closely with other Executive Assistants throughout the organization.

    The ideal candidate will be a detail oriented, experienced planner with the demonstrated ability to respond effectively and efficiently while maintaining flexibility, composure, and confidentiality. The individual in this role must understand business priorities, demonstrate the ability to proactively anticipate needs and drive improvements to build capacity for the leadership team. A high level of integrity and discretion in handling confidential information as well as professionalism in dealing with senior executives inside and outside of the company is critical.

    The successful candidate will possess the ability to complete complex tasks quickly with little to no guidance, anticipate challenges, react with appropriate urgency to situations that require a quick turnaround, and take effective action without having to know the whole picture.

    Key job responsibilities

    Proactively coordinate and engage with leadership in planning and organizing events, activities and calendars

    Management of complex calendars, scheduling requirements, and prioritization of executive"s tasks and appointments according to their importance, urgency, and relevance.

    Act as a liaison for direct reports and business stakeholders

    Extensive travel coordination (international and domestic)

    Manage expense report coordination and submission.

    Organize and manage meetings all-hands, off-sites and team-based events.

    Work alongside other executive assistants within the org and throughout AWS to drive best practices and cross collaboration of efficiencies

    Working in a highly ambiguous environment, you will complete tasks and projects quickly and with little to no guidance, and take effective action without having to know the total picture. You will apply a superior attention to detail, great organizational skills, and the ability to meet tight deadlines and juggle multiple critical requests while maintaining flexibility, a sense of humor, and most importantly, grace under pressure. You will understand business priorities, demonstrate the ability to proactively anticipate needs, and drive improvements to build capacity for the leaders and their teams. Over time, you will build deep and trusting professional relationships with the leaders and their teams, which will blossom into strong partnerships that provide opportunity for special projects with increased responsibility and long-term career growth.
