    OBJECTIVE

We are looking for an Executive Assistant to join us onsite in San Francisco, providing dedicated support to two investment team partners in a high-velocity, high-stakes environment. You must be a thoughtful, professional communicator, hyper-organized, and skilled at prioritizing demands for two partners without missing a beat. We are seeking an individual who is calm under pressure, exercises excellent judgment and discretion with sensitive deal and firm information, and anticipates needs before being asked. The ideal candidate prioritizes the team over themselves, is enthusiastic about venture capital, and is passionate about driving efficiency for both partners and the broader firm.

    RESPONSIBILITIES

    Calendar & Schedule Management

    • Manage complex, high-volume calendars for two investment team partners, each with distinct scheduling needs
    • Proactively structure and prioritize time for meetings, travel, board commitments, and deal work
    • Anticipate scheduling conflicts and resolve them before they require the partners’ attention

    Communications & Correspondence

    • Serve as a key point of contact for internal and external stakeholders, always exercising discretion and professionalism
    • Draft, manage, and triage correspondence with sound judgment on urgency and priority
    • Adapt communication style and approach to match each partner's preferences and working style

    Travel & Logistics

    • Coordinate detailed, often fast-changing travel arrangements
    • Manage expense reporting and related administrative logistics

    Cross-Functional & Firm-Wide Coordination

    • Balance individual partner priorities against broader firm-wide goals and deadlines
    • Partner with other members of the investment and operations teams to ensure alignment across the firm

    Deal & Portfolio Support

    • Prepare briefing materials and background context ahead of founder, board, and LP meetings
    • Support diligence processes by coordinating calls, materials, and follow-ups
    • Coordinate board meeting logistics and ongoing touchpoints with portfolio companies where necessary

    Confidentiality

    • Maintain the highest level of discretion when handling sensitive deal, financial, and personnel information

    REQUIREMENTS

    • A minimum of 5 years of experience in an Executive Assistant role, preferably supporting C-level leadership within venture capital/private equity or relevant financial services industry
    • Exceptional organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively
    • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with a high level of professionalism and discretion
    • Demonstrated ability to operate independently and proactively with minimal direction
    • Strong ability to manage ambiguity, exercising sound judgment when instructions are incomplete
    • Preference for AI fluency with the ability to seamlessly use the modern technology stack used by the firm, including but not limited to Microsoft Suite, Zoom, Slack, Dropbox, ChatGPT/Claude, etc.
    • High degree of discretion and trustworthiness in handling confidential information
    • A collaborative, team-first mindset with a strong sense of ownership and follow-through
    • Calm, even-tempered, and resilient under pressure
    • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in a related field is preferred

    Total Compensation Range: $150-175K
