Description

Corvus is a clinical-stage biopharmaceutical company developing novel therapies with the potential to significantly improve the treatment of immune diseases and cancer. Our lead program, soquelitinib, is a first-in-class, oral therapy that selectively inhibits ITK to modulate and control parallel signaling pathways in the immune system.We are seeking an Executive Administrative Assistant to provide administrative support to Chief Executive Officer (CEO), Chief Financial Officer (CFO) and other executives as necessary.This is an on-site role with a minimum of 4 days on-site.Role and ResponsibilitiesTasks may include, but are not limited to:
  • Scheduling and coordinating meetings as requested by the CEO and CBO with internal and external team members including meetings related to business development activities
  • Collects and prepares information for use in discussions/meetings of executive staff and outside individuals, including investors and board members
  • Coordinate and schedule executive leadership team and board of director meetings and related phone or video calls
  • Preparing materials and packages for executive leadership team, board of director meetings and other important company meetings
  • Coordinate arrangements and meetings related to annual conferences such as ESMO, ASCO and AACR
  • Coordinate the review, signing and filing of various contractual agreements.
  • Coordinate arrangements and meetings related to investor relation functions including meetings  and related phone or video calls with existing and potential investors
  • Support and act as backup for other administrative staff including Office Manager and Facilities Coordinator
  • Must anticipate the needs of the CEO and CFO
  • Handles details of a highly confidential and critical nature
  • Makes high-level contacts of a sensitive nature inside and outside the company
  • Represents CEO and CFO and Corvus with the highest level of professionalism
  • Exercises judgment within generally defined practices and policies in selecting methods and techniques for obtaining solutions
  • Must be willing to work five days a week in Corvus’ South San Francisco Office
Qualifications and Education Requirements
  • 5+ years’ experience in similar role with comparable responsibilities
  • Bachelor’s degree a plus
  • Expert level proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite required (Outlook, Word, Excel)
  • Experience in working with senior-level executives within and outside the company, customers, vendors, and visitors
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Experience in working in pharmaceutical and/or biotechnology industry
Preferred Skills
  • Excellent teamwork and collaboration skills 
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office including creation of slides for technical and business presentations
  • Strong project management skills
  • Able to build effective working relationships throughout the organization internally and externally to achieve goals
  • Flexibility and willingness to solve problems that fall outside of immediate area of expertise
  • Clear and concise verbal and written communication skills and strong organizational skills, with an exceptional attention to detail
  • Work independently in an interdisciplinary, fast-paced, often changing environment
  • Committed to the values of integrity, accountability and drive
Salary Range 140k – 170k
