Careerscape is recruiting on behalf of our client, a fast-moving New York City company, for a sharp, resourceful Right Hand to the CEO. This is a rare entry level opportunity to sit at the center of the business, working directly with executive leadership on the priorities that matter most day to day. You will get an unfiltered view of how a company is run, from strategic planning to the smallest operational details that keep everything moving.
The day to day is fast, varied, and never quite the same from one week to the next. One moment you might be pulling together a board deck, the next you are coordinating a last minute trip or tracking down an answer the CEO needs before a call. People who thrive in this role are proactive, discreet, and energized by ambiguity, comfortable juggling multiple priorities without losing sight of what matters most, and eager to learn the business from the inside out.
Responsibilities
Manage the CEOs calendar, scheduling, and daily priorities
Prepare briefing materials, presentations, and board meeting decks
Coordinate domestic and international travel arrangements
Track action items across projects and follow up to ensure deadlines are met
Act as a liaison between the CEO and internal teams, partners, and clients
Handle confidential information with sound judgment and discretion
Research topics, competitors, and market trends as requested
Draft and proofread emails, memos, and internal communications
Support special projects and initiatives as they arise
Help organize company events, offsites, and leadership meetings
Requirements
Bachelors degree or equivalent practical experience
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast paced environment
Comfort working with ambiguity and shifting priorities
Proficiency with Microsoft Office and Google Workspace
High level of discretion when handling sensitive information
Self starter attitude with strong problem solving instincts
Availability to accommodate occasional early or late calls across time zones
