About the Role
We're looking for an exceptional Executive Assistant to the CEO to help a fast-growing startup operate with greater focus, speed, and efficiency.
You'll work closely with the CEO across scheduling, communication, travel, meetings, priorities, and day-to-day operations. This role goes beyond traditional executive support: you'll act as a trusted partner who anticipates needs, removes friction, and helps ensure the CEO's time is focused on the highest-impact priorities.
The ideal candidate is highly organized, resourceful, discreet, and proactive, with experience supporting founders or senior executives in a fast-moving startup environment.
What You'll Do
- Own complex calendar management, scheduling, and prioritization.
- Coordinate domestic and international travel, itineraries, and logistics.
- Manage meeting preparation, agendas, notes, and follow-ups.
- Help prioritize inbound requests and protect the CEO's time.
- Draft and coordinate communications with employees, investors, customers, candidates, and external partners.
- Track important decisions, commitments, and action items to ensure follow-through.
- Organize leadership meetings, company events, offsites, and other executive activities.
- Handle confidential and sensitive information with excellent judgment.
- Take ownership of special projects and operational tasks as needed.
- Anticipate problems before they arise and proactively find solutions.
What We're Looking For
- 3–7+ years of experience supporting a CEO, founder, or senior executive, ideally at a startup or high-growth company.
- Exceptional organizational and time-management skills.
- Strong written and verbal communication.
- Excellent judgment, discretion, and attention to detail.
- Ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-changing environment.
- Highly proactive—you identify what needs to happen without waiting to be asked.
- Comfortable interacting with executives, investors, customers, candidates, and other senior stakeholders.
- Strong proficiency with modern productivity and collaboration tools.
- Willingness to operate beyond a traditional EA job description when the business needs it.
Strong Plus
- Experience supporting a founder at an early-stage or venture-backed startup.
- Experience during periods of rapid company growth.
- Recruiting, people operations, event planning, or business operations exposure.
- Experience coordinating board or investor meetings.
- Familiarity with AI and automation tools for executive productivity.
- Experience building systems and processes rather than simply maintaining them.
