The Worldwide Amazon Stores organization is looking for an Executive Assistant who wants to work in a fast-paced, exciting, and growing organization. We are looking for someone to support two Directors on our Promotions & Events team in Seattle, Washington.

This Executive Assistant will be responsible for handling confidential information and maintaining professionalism in dealing with senior executives. Key role responsibilities include managing multiple complex calendars, planning and organizing events of all sizes, keeping close tabs on workback plans, and coordinating domestic & international travel. This candidate will help build a positive team environment and establish working relationships inside and outside of the group.

  • Ability to work in a highly ambiguous environment
  • Passion and enthusiasm for Amazon's retail business and the Amazon.com vision
  • Ability to work effectively with minimal supervision
  • Strong organizational and communication skills, a team-orientated philosophy, and sharp problem solving skills
  • Ability to quickly learn quickly and an aptitude for learning new concepts on the job
  • Ability to prioritize and handle multiple assignments at any given time while maintaining commitment to deadlines
  • Ability to drive clarity and pose key question to support strategic organizational objectives

Key job responsibilities

  • Manage complex calendars for leaders and teams multiple locations
  • Manage domestic and international travel
  • Oversee expense reports for leaders
  • Organize, execute, and assist with team activities
  • Ensure the timely completion of critical tasks and follow-up on pending matters
  • Work closely with the leadership team, program managers, recruiting, and other Executive Assistants to provide support to the organization
  • Willingness to exercise a strong backbone and look around corners
  • Help to develop & maintain new mechanisms within the team
  • Organize and coordinate in-person onsite support for the largest sale events worldwide
  • Key partner in program management and tracking critical deliverables
  • Manage space in particular allocations of multiple office locations
