Bella Vista, an Eden Senior Care community, is seeking a dynamic, compassionate, and results-driven Executive Director to lead our premier senior living campus in beautiful Oshkosh, Wisconsin.
Nestled along the beautiful shores of Lake Winnebago, Bella Vista is one of Oshkosh's premier senior living campuses, offering Independent Living, Residential Care Apartment Complex (RCAC), and Community-Based Residential Facility (CBRF) Memory Care in a warm, welcoming environment where residents enjoy exceptional care, breathtaking lake views, and an engaging community lifestyle.
This exciting leadership opportunity is available as our current Executive Director transitions into a new role within Eden Senior Care. She will remain with the organization and work alongside regional leadership to support a thoughtful onboarding process, ensuring a seamless transition for our residents, families, employees, and our next Executive Director.

Position Summary
The Executive Director is responsible for the overall leadership and operational success of the Bella Vista campus. This position oversees all aspects of community operations, including resident satisfaction, employee engagement, financial performance, regulatory compliance, census development, quality outcomes, and strategic growth. The Executive Director serves as the face of the community, building meaningful relationships with residents, families, referral partners, healthcare providers, and the greater Oshkosh community while fostering a culture of excellence, compassion, and accountability.
Essential Responsibilities
Leadership Operations
- Provide strategic leadership and oversight of all campus operations, ensuring excellence across Independent Living, RCAC, and CBRF Memory Care.
- Foster a culture centered on compassion, accountability, teamwork, hospitality, and operational excellence.
- Lead, coach, mentor, and develop department managers and employees while building a collaborative, high-performing leadership team.
- Promote operational efficiency while maintaining exceptional resident care, customer service, and employee engagement.
- Drive continuous quality improvement initiatives that enhance resident outcomes, operational performance, and customer satisfaction.
- Participate in a shared leadership on-call rotation, providing after-hours operational support and guidance to ensure continuity of resident care and community operations.
Resident Experience
- Champion a resident-centered culture that promotes dignity, independence, engagement, and an exceptional quality of life.
- Build meaningful relationships with residents and their families through visible, approachable leadership.
- Address resident and family concerns promptly, professionally, and compassionately while ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction.
- Ensure individualized service plans and resident needs are consistently supported in collaboration with the interdisciplinary team.
- Promote engaging lifestyle programming, wellness initiatives, and hospitality services that enrich the resident experience.
Regulatory Compliance Quality
- Maintain compliance with all applicable Wisconsin regulations governing RCAC, and CBRF operations
- Ensure continuous survey readiness and successful regulatory outcomes.
- Lead quality assurance and performance improvement initiatives while maintaining high standards of care and service.
Financial Operational Management
- Manage operating budget while monitoring labor, census, expenses, and key operational metrics.
- Analyze financial and operational performance and implement action plans to achieve community goals.
- Develop and execute strategies to increase occupancy, improve resident retention, and strengthen overall campus performance.
- Partner closely with Regional Operations and corporate support teams to achieve operational and financial objectives.
Team Development
- Recruit, hire, onboard, develop, and retain exceptional employees and leaders.
- Create a workplace culture focused on engagement, accountability, collaboration, recognition, and professional growth.
- Ensure comprehensive orientation, ongoing education, coaching, and leadership development.
- Recognize and celebrate employee achievements while fostering a culture where team members feel valued and supported.
Community Engagement Business Development
- Serve as the primary ambassador for Bella Vista throughout the Oshkosh community.
- Support occupancy growth through networking, relationship development, marketing initiatives, and community outreach efforts.
- Host and participate in resident, family, prospective resident, and community events that strengthen relationships, celebrate residents, and showcase the vibrant lifestyle Bella Vista has to offer.
Qualifications
- Previous experience as an Executive Director, Assisted Living Administrator, or Nursing Home Administrator preferred.
- Wisconsin CBRF Administrator certification or eligibility to obtain certification.
- Demonstrated success leading multidisciplinary teams, managing financial performance, and driving operational excellence.
- Exceptional leadership, communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
- Passion for serving older adults while creating a culture of compassion, excellence, accountability, and teamwork.

- Competitive salary: $90,000–$110,000 annually, based on experience and qualifications
