We are partnering with a leading healthcare organization to identify an experienced Hospice Executive Director to lead operations in the Des Moines market!

This is an exciting opportunity for a proven hospice leader to take ownership of clinical quality, operational performance, financial results, growth, and team development while advancing an organization committed to exceptional end-of-life care.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide overall leadership for hospice operations, clinical performance, growth, and financial results.

• Lead and develop clinical, operational, and business development teams while building a strong culture of accountability and collaboration.

• Drive census growth and strengthen relationships with referral and community partners throughout the Pittsburgh market.

• Manage budget performance, staffing, productivity, cost per patient day, and key operational metrics.

• Ensure clinical excellence, regulatory compliance, survey readiness, and an exceptional patient and family experience.

• Identify opportunities to improve operational efficiency, quality, employee engagement, and market performance.

Executive Profile

• 5+ years of progressive healthcare leadership experience with direct hospice leadership experience strongly preferred.

• Previous experience as a Hospice Executive Director, Administrator, Branch Director, Area/Regional Leader, or similar operational leader.

• Demonstrated success leading operations, financial performance, growth, clinical quality, and high-performing teams.

• Strong knowledge of hospice regulations, Medicare Conditions of Participation, and compliance requirements.
