Key Responsibilities
- Provide operational leadership across affordable housing, asset management, property management, finance, construction, and compliance functions.
- Oversee budgeting, forecasting, financial performance, and long-term sustainability initiatives.
- Partner closely with the Board and senior leadership on strategic planning, growth initiatives, and organizational priorities.
- Drive operational excellence through process improvement, performance management, and resource optimization.
- Develop and mentor staff leaders while fostering a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
- Ensure compliance with applicable housing regulations, funding requirements, audits, and risk management standards.
- Represent the organization with community stakeholders, financial partners, municipal agencies, and nonprofit partners.
Qualifications
- 7+ years of progressive leadership experience within affordable housing, real estate, commercial lending, community development, or related sectors.
- Demonstrated success leading multidisciplinary teams and complex operational environments.
- Strong financial acumen including budgeting, forecasting, capital planning, and financial statement analysis.
- Experience managing regulated programs, compliance requirements, and external stakeholder relationships.
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Public Administration, Business Administration, Urban Planning, Nonprofit Management, or a related field.
- Mission-driven leader with the ability to balance strategic vision and operational execution.
