Main Purpose of Job
The Executive Director of the Professional Design Boards is responsible for the unit that oversees the qualification, examination, licensing and regulation of approximately 40,000 professional design licensees and the board of pilots. Licensing and regulation of the boards is accomplished in concert with the six boards comprised of industry members and consumer members.
POSITION DUTIES
Duties of this position include but are not limited to:
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Education: Bachelor''s degree
Experience: Two years of experience in one or more of the following: the supervision of 2 or more employees, overseeing and coordinating general operations, familiarity with special funds budgets, and all personnel actions from recruitment to termination. Experience interpreting and applying State Government laws, regulations, policies, and procedures. Experience with process improvement. Experience managing issues related to licensing, compliance, and regulation.
DESIRED OR PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
Preference will be given to applicants who possess the following preferred qualification(s). Include clear and specific information on your application regarding your qualifications.
Experience with the Professional Design Boards.
Experience with licensing (AS400 system)
Experience in Google Suite and Microsoft Suite, including Excel
