Executive Underwriter - Shared & Layered Property

We are seeking an experienced Executive Underwriter with 10+ years specializing in Shared and Layered Property. This is a production role focused primarily on managing large accounts with a retail brokerage focus. The ideal candidate will have established relationships with top retail brokers and the ability to handle complex insurance structures involving shared and layered policies.

Key Responsibilities:

• Underwrite and manage portfolios primarily consisting of Shared and Layered Property insurance policies.
• Handle up to 20-25 significant accounts with minimum premiums around $100K.
• Focus on large accounts including data centers, manufacturing firms, public entities, technology companies, and municipal/state clients.
• Assess and price risk appropriately for shared and layered property insurance programs.
• Collaborate with underwriting teams to structure policies that meet client needs.
• Maintain strong relationships with brokers and clients to support business growth.
• International insurance market knowledge is a plus.

Qualifications:

• 10+ years of underwriting experience specifically in Shared and Layered Property insurance.
• Strong network and contact base within retail brokerage firms is essential.
• Experience with large account management in industries such as technology, manufacturing, and public sectors.
• Ability to produce results in a competitive market.
• Knowledge of international insurance programs is desirable but not required.
