Hourly Pay Range:

$27.14 - $40.71 - The hourly pay rate offered is determined by a candidate's expertise and years of experience, among other factors.

Exercise Physiologist – Cardiac Diagnostics

 

Position Highlights:

 

• Position: Exercise Physiologist – Cardiac Diagnostics

 

• Location: Northwest Community Hospital, Arlington Heights

 

• Full Time/Part Time: Full Time, 40 hours per week

 

• Hours: Day Shift, 7:30 am-4:00 pm

 

• On-Call: Rotating weekend call (1-2 times per month)

 

• Required Travel: Floating to Schaumburg or 1632 location as needed

 

• Holidays: No

 

What you will do:

 

• Assist with cardiac stress testing, including patient preparation, exercise monitoring and assessment of patient responses.
• Monitor vital signs, symptoms and patient tolerance during cardiac diagnostic testing, communicating changes to the healthcare team.
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses and other healthcare professionals to provide safe patient care and maintain accurate documentation of testing procedures.

 

What you will need:

• Education: Bachelor's Degree in Exercise Physiology required. Master's degree preferred.
• Certification: Current American Heart Association CPR/BLS certification required. ACLS required within 6 months of hire.
• Experience: 1 year of experience as Exercise Physiologist or previous internship highly preferred
