Northeast Philadelphia pediatric dental office looking for part-time or full-time EFDA Dental Assistant to join our team. Up to 5-day work week, with 1 evening per alternate week. No weekends.
 
We are a single doctor practice with tight knit team that has been serving the community for over 35 years. We offer competitive wages with 401(k) match, medical and dental insurance, uniform allowance, paid holidays and personal time off.
 
The ideal candidate is hard working, a team player, detail-oriented, reliable, and able to communicate well with both patients and colleagues.
 
Duties include:

• Chairside assisting
• Take impressions and x-rays
• Perform sealants and fillings
• Fabricate chairside space maintainers
• Coordinating patient care with front desk
• Lab work as needed

 
Required qualifications:

• Current licensure as an EFDA in the state of Pennsylvania
• Demonstrated desire to work in a pediatric setting
• Radiology certification
• CPR certification

 
Preferred qualifications:

• At least 1-2 years of experience as an EFDA
• Speaking a foreign language is helpful
