    Description

    SUMMARY

    Compiles and maintains material and parts inventory and status information to expedite movement of material and parts between production areas by performing the following duties.

    ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

    • Analyzes production schedules, inventory reports, and work orders.
    • Uses pick list and paint matrix to ensure all parts are available to assemble production orders per

    daily operation schedule.

    • Reviews reports to ensure all purchased parts are available to the assembly area to meet the daily operations schedule.
    • Interacts closely with all individual product coordinators from supporting departments to ensure scheduled parts are available on schedule.
    • The individual will be responsible for providing updated information on parts availability to the Assembly Team Leaders.

    QUALIFICATIONS

    EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE

    High School education or equivalent. Ability to read blueprints and specifications. The individual must be highly skilled in the use of Tru-View and Syteline. Knowledge of Quality requirements and material specifications per drawings. Able to communicate orally and in writing in English. Dependable.

    LANGUAGE SKILLS

    Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization.

    MATHEMATICAL SKILLS

    Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs.

    REASONING ABILITY

    Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
