This is a full-time opportunity for individuals interested in a hands-on role testing construction materials and supporting infrastructure development. Whether you're starting your career or looking to grow in civil or geotechnical engineering, we want to hear from you.Compensation: $25-35/hour (depending on experience)Location: Phoenix, AZ FLSA Exemption: Non-ExemptSchedule: Full-time, 40 hours/week (schedule may vary)What you'll be doing:Receive and test construction materials such as soils, aggregates, and concretePerform laboratory testing including:Moisture ContentSieve AnalysisAtterberg LimitsProctor CompactionConsolidationDirect ShearCompressive StrengthRecord accurate data and report findings to the Laboratory ManagerMaintain lab equipment and workspace according to safety and quality standardsWhat you have:High school diploma or equivalentValid driver's licenseAbility to lift up to 60 lbsStrong work ethic and attention to detailWillingness to follow procedures and contribute to team successWhat will make you stand out:1 year of experience in a similar lab or materials testing roleACI or WAQTC certificationsCoursework or degree in civil engineering, construction management, or geologyPreferred Certification(s):ACI – Concrete Field Testing TechnicianATTI - Soils, Aggregate Testing, AsphaltCMT Technical Services is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
