Come make a difference at Ochsner Health and discover your future today!Job DutiesPerform month‑end functions such as various payroll deduction and cash account reconciliations, analyze data on monthly payroll transactions, review trends on salary expenses, and assist with year‑end accounting tasks and audits, creating journal entries and other assigned accounting tasks.Complete analytic projects, prepare reports, and perform financial analysis by completing related duties on an ongoing basis as assigned (includes audit and cost reporting schedules).Initiate process improvements.Remain knowledgeable on current federal, state and local laws, accreditation standards or regulatory agency requirements that apply to the assigned area of responsibility and ensure compliance with all such laws, regulations and standards.Comply with the Ochsner Health System Compliance & Privacy Program and Standards of Conduct, including the immediate reporting of any known or suspected unethical or questionable behaviors or conduct; patient/employee safety, patient privacy, and/or other compliance‑related concerns.Physical and Environmental DemandsThe physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
