Experienced Cabinet Installer / Finish Carpenter
Location: [Appleton/Fox Valley or Stevens Point, WI]Pay: $28–$34 per hour, based on demonstrated skillsSchedule: Full-time weekdays, usually 7 a.m.–4 p.m.; no weekend work
You know the difference between a cabinet door that closes and one that fits correctly.
Kitchen Tune-Up is looking for an experienced installer who takes pride in precise work and can handle assigned installations independently. You’ll update kitchens in customers’ homes, working with cabinets, countertops, doors, drawer fronts, rollouts, hardware, and finish trim.
What you’ll do
- Measure, fit, and install cabinet components and trim.
- Adjust doors, drawers, and hardware for a clean fit and smooth operation.
- Protect the home, keep the work area clean, and communicate respectfully with homeowners.
- Review job details and flag missing materials or unexpected conditions early.
- Keep the project manager informed and check your work before leaving.
What you bring
- Demonstrated cabinet installation or finish carpentry experience.
- Accurate measuring skills and the ability to complete assigned installation work independently.
- Safe tool use, reliable attendance, and clear communication.
- A valid driver’s license and a driving record that meets company vehicle requirements.
- Ability to perform essential installation tasks—including lifting, carrying, kneeling, and ladder use—with or without reasonable accommodation.
Cabinet refacing, redooring, crown molding, custom trim, and teaching others are helpful, but not required. You don’t need prior Kitchen Tune-Up experience; we’ll teach you our products and methods.

Location and travel
Report to [the Appleton office in northwest Appleton toward Greenville / the Stevens Point shop, approximately five miles east of Menards]. Most jobs are within an hour, with occasional travel up to 90 minutes. You’ll return to the shop before heading home in your own vehicle.
