Experienced Carpenter

Overview:

As a new home construction Carpenter, you will be responsible for building, assembling, and installing residential construction components that support new home construction and remodeling projects. This hands on role requires experience reading blueprints, measuring and cutting materials, and safely operating hand and power tools to complete framing, structural, and finish carpentry tasks. You'll work closely with a residential carpentry crew to ensure projects are completed safely, efficiently, and to the highest quality standards. What you will do::

The Carpenter is responsible for constructing, assembling, and repairing a variety of building materials and components. The ideal candidate is hands-on, detail-oriented, and comfortable working with tools, measurements, and construction plans.  

• Measure, cut, shape, and assemble materials according to specifications 
• Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and work orders to determine project requirements 
• Install, build, or repair structures and components using a variety of tools and equipment 
• Inspect completed work to ensure it meets quality standards and project specifications 
• Load, move, and organize materials as needed for projects 
• Maintain tools, equipment, and a clean, safe work environment 
• Collaborate with team members to complete projects on time 
• Follow all safety policies and procedures 
• Perform additional duties as needed 

What you will bring::

• Experience in carpentry or a related trade preferred 
• Ability to use hand tools and power tools safely and effectively 
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality work 
• Ability to read and interpret basic construction documents 
• Good communication and teamwork skills 
• Dependable, organized, and able to follow instructions 
• Experience in construction, manufacturing, or related environments 
• Familiarity with material handling equipment 
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, and perform physical tasks throughout the shift 
• Ability to lift moderate to heavy materials as required (up to 50 lbs and occasionally up to 80 lbs) 
• Ability to perform work in indoor and/or outdoor environments, depending on the role

Salary range is $20 to $55 per hour.
