experienced carpenters in the surrounding Pittsburgh area as we prepare for anticipated commercial construction, renovation, and maintenance opportunities.

You don't need to be experienced in every type of carpentry. We're interested in what you do best and the work you can perform independently.

Pay & Overtime
- $25–$31/hour, depending on verified experience, skill level, and assignment requirements.
- Pay is determined by the specific opportunity and the work you're qualified to perform.
- Overtime may be available depending on the assignment.
- Pay, schedule, and location are discussed before accepting an assignment.
Schedule
- Primarily first-shift construction schedules.
- Full-time assignments may be available.
- Start times and weekly hours vary by project.
- Short-term, long-term, and ongoing opportunities may become available.
Job Duties
Depending on your experience and the available assignment, work may include:
- Framing & Rough Carpentry: Wood framing, metal stud framing, partitions, layout, and general construction.
- Commercial Interiors: Drywall installation, acoustical ceilings, doors, frames, and hardware.
- Finish Carpentry: Trim, cabinets, finish installations, and detailed carpentry work.
- Concrete Formwork: Building, installing, and removing forms.
- Renovation & Maintenance: Repairs, remodeling, punch-list work, and construction improvements.
Assignments are matched to your demonstrated skills. Not every opportunity requires experience in all these areas.
Requirements
- Previous hands-on carpentry or related construction experience.
- Demonstrated skills in at least one carpentry specialty.
- Ability to measure, cut, fit, and install materials accurately.
- Experience safely using trade-related hand and power tools.
- Reliable transportation to jobsites within your preferred work area.
- Ability to follow jobsite safety requirements and work effectively with a crew.
Ideal Candidate

- Have solid hands-on experience in rough, finish, framing, commercial interiors, or form carpentry.
- Can explain the work they perform independently.
- Take pride in quality workmanship and jobsite safety.
- Communicate clearly about availability, travel distance, and pay expectations.
