As a result, a full-time position is available for an Experienced Client / Project Manager to join our Aviation Midwest group at any of the following office locations: Middleton, WI (greater Madison area); West Allis (Milwaukee area), and De Pere, WI.\n \nResponsibilities include:\n\n Leading project teams, including management of scope development and execution\n Collaborating with our clients and partner agencies to solve challenges and deliver complex infrastructure improvements through communication and innovative engineering solutions\n Partnering with upper management in business development through pursuing and leading opportunities and winning work\n Preparing reports, budgets, cost estimates, specifications, plans, schedules, studies and permits related to planning and engineering design\n Leading proactive client interactions and communications with regards to federal programming, and state and government agencies\n Performing QA/QC tasks\n Mentoring and providing technical guidance for less experienced technical staff\n Maintaining familiarity with technical requirements and regulations affecting the aviation industry and other potential consulting opportunities\n Other duties as assigned\n \nA valid driver's license and approximately 10% - 20% travel will be required.\n \nThe successful candidate must have the following:\n\n A bachelor's degree or higher in civil engineering or related field from an accredited college or university\n At least 5 years of relevant experience in the fields of transportation, airport, or municipal engineering.\n \nThe ideal candidate will have any/all the following:\n\n At least 10 or more years of relevant experience is highly preferred\n PE license is preferred\n Proficiency with AutoCAD Civil 3D\n Experience with:\n Leading airport design projects (taxiways, aprons, runways, etc.)\n Serving as the project manager on airport planning and design projects\n Mentoring and leading engineering project teams\n Preparing scope of work, fees, contracts, plans, specifications, capital improvement plans, program management, or related experience\n Performing QA/QC reviews\n Performing business development activities\n \nAt Mead & Hunt we shape the future by putting people first.
