Caregiver Needed – Parkinson’s Experience Required (Engaging & Compassionate)
We are seeking an experienced, reliable, and compassionate caregiver for a client with Parkinson’s disease. The ideal candidate will not only be skilled in physical care but also have a warm, engaging personality and the ability to keep the client mentally and socially active throughout the shift.
Responsibilities:
Assist with daily living activities (bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting)
Support mobility and help prevent falls (experience with Parkinson’s movement challenges preferred)
Ensure timely medication reminders
Provide companionship and meaningful engagement (conversation, activities, light exercises, etc.)
Encourage independence while offering appropriate support
Monitor for changes in condition and communicate as needed
Ideal Candidate:
Has prior experience working with Parkinson’s clients
Patient, upbeat, and interactive—not passive
Strong communication skills and a positive attitude
Dependable, attentive, and observant
Able to create a supportive, stimulating environment during each shift
