Position: Commercial Roofing Service Technician



Position Overview



We are seeking an experienced, dependable, and detail-oriented Commercial Roofing Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in commercial roof leak detection, troubleshooting, repairs, preventative maintenance, and the application of commercial roof coating systems.



We are looking for a skilled professional who takes pride in quality workmanship, communicates effectively with customers and team members, and can independently perform roofing service calls safely and efficiently.



Bilingual candidates (English and Spanish) are strongly preferred. Applicants must have a valid driver’s license and be legally authorized to work in the United States.



Key Responsibilities

• Respond to commercial roof leak service calls and identify the source of water intrusion.
• Perform commercial roof inspections, preventative maintenance, and routine service work.
• Diagnose roofing problems and complete repairs in a timely, professional manner.
• Prepare roof surfaces and apply commercial roof coating systems according to project specifications.
• Work with a variety of commercial roofing systems, materials, and repair methods.
• Identify existing and potential roofing issues and recommend appropriate repair solutions.
• Communicate professionally with customers, property managers, supervisors, and team members.
• Complete service reports, document work performed, and report additional roofing concerns.
• Maintain clean, organized, and safe work areas while following all applicable safety procedures.

Required Qualifications

• Proven commercial roofing experience is required.
• Hands-on experience with commercial roof leak detection, troubleshooting, maintenance, and repairs.
• Experience applying commercial roof coatings and working with various roofing systems.
• Working knowledge of commercial roofing materials, repair techniques, and preventative maintenance practices.
• Ability to troubleshoot roofing issues and work independently in the field.
• Bilingual in English and Spanish preferred to communicate effectively with customers and crew members.
• Valid driver’s license required, with an acceptable driving record.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States.
• Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions, climb ladders, and safely access commercial rooftops.
• Ability to lift roofing materials, use roofing tools and equipment, and perform physically demanding work.
• Reliable transportation, punctuality, a strong work ethic, and a commitment to workplace safety.
