We are an established, patient-focused dental practice in Summerville looking for a dependable, energetic, and highly skilled Dental Assistant to join our team.
This is an excellent opportunity for an assistant who is confident in both general and surgical dentistry and wants to continue growing their skills in areas such as implants, All-on-X, CEREC, dentures and sedation dentistry.
You’ll work alongside an excellent doctor and a supportive team in a practice that values strong clinical skills, great patient care, teamwork and professional growth.
This is not an entry-level position. We are looking for an experienced assistant who is comfortable in a busy clinical environment and takes pride in providing exceptional care.

What You’ll Do
As a Dental Assistant, you’ll play an important role in both the clinical experience and the patient’s overall experience.
Responsibilities include:- Provide confident four-handed chairside assistance
- Prepare patients and treatment rooms for general and surgical procedures
- Assist with restorative, surgical and advanced dental procedures
- Take and manage diagnostic X-rays
- Assist with treatment charting and clinical documentation
- Educate and communicate with patients throughout their appointments
- Set up, break down and sterilize rooms, instruments and equipment
- Maintain proper infection-control and OSHA standards
- Help keep the clinical schedule running efficiently
- Anticipate the doctor’s needs and help create an exceptional patient experience
We’d Love to Meet You If You Have:
Required:- Previous professional Dental Assistant experience
- Current X-Ray Certification
- Strong four-handed dentistry skills
- Excellent communication and patient-care skills
- Strong organization and attention to detail
- Dependability and a positive, team-focused attitude
Highly Preferred:- Surgical dentistry experience
- Implant dentistry experience
- All-on-X / full-arch experience
- CEREC experience
- Denture and removable experience
- Sedation dentistry experience
- Nitrous and/or anesthesia/sedation monitoring certification
- Current BLS/CPR certification
Schedule- Full-Time
- Day Shift
- Approximately 8-hour shifts
- In-person position in Charleston, South Carolina
