Experienced Dozer OperatorPosition SummaryAllied Development Group is a site development, excavating and utilities contractor based in Lancaster, Ohio. We are seeking a skilled and safety-conscious Dozer Operator to join our construction team. The ideal candidate will have experience operating various types of heavy equipment on commercial, industrial, and civil construction projects but we are specifically looking for Dozer operators with no less than 3-5 years' experience. This position requires attention to detail, the ability to work independently and as part of a team, and a strong commitment to safety and quality workmanship. Our work is in the Central Ohio area.Essential Duties and ResponsibilitiesSafely operate heavy equipment including, but not limited to:Bulldozers, GPS is a plus!Hydraulic ExcavatorsPerform excavation, grading, trenching, backfilling, demolition, loading, and material handling.Read and interpret blueprints, grade stakes, and site plans.Work closely with foremen, supervisors, laborers, and other operators to complete projects efficiently.Perform daily pre-trip and post-trip inspections of equipment.Identify mechanical issues and report maintenance needs promptly.Maintain equipment in a clean and safe operating condition.Follow OSHA regulations, company safety policies, and all applicable local, state, and federal regulations.Ensure work is completed according to project specifications and quality standards.Assist with site cleanup and other construction tasks as needed.Work in varying weather conditions and on uneven terrain.QualificationsMinimum 3–5 years of experience operating a Dozer with or without GPS.Experience on commercial, industrial, utility, or site development projects preferred.Ability to safely operate multiple types of equipment.Strong understanding of excavation, grading, trench safety, and utility installation.Ability to read construction drawings and grade stakes is preferred.Valid driver's license requiredOSHA 10 or OSHA 30 certification preferred but not necessary.Strong communication and teamwork skills.Reliable attendance and punctuality.Physical RequirementsAbility to sit for extended periods while operating equipment.Frequently climb on and off equipment.Lift up to 50 pounds occasionally.Work outdoors in hot, cold, wet, and dusty conditions.Good vision, depth perception, and hand-eye coordination.Ability to safely work around underground and overhead utilities.Knowledge, Skills & AbilitiesSafe equipment operationJobsite awareness and hazard recognitionPreventive equipment maintenanceGrade and slope controlAttention to detailTime managementProblem-solving skillsDependability and professionalismBenefitsCompetitive hourly wage based on experienceHealth, dental, and vision insurance401(k) with company matchPaid vacation and holidaysCompany-provided PPEOur team needs you!So, what do you think?
