The Installation Technician reports to the Installation Manager and is responsible for performing a range of HVACR installation jobs for industrial, commercial, and residential customers. Customer-based activities require an individual possessing traits of decisiveness, initiative, tact, judgment, integrity, dependability, and the ability to communicate in a technically credible manner. Job-related contact can occur with virtually all demographic groups, with the majority of working contacts being customers, other technicians, the Installation Manager, the Estimator and the Parts Runner.
Responsibilities: - Install HVAC systems, including heating, air conditioning, and ventilation equipment- Interpret blueprints, installation manuals, and work orders to determine material requirements and installation procedures- Measure and layout installation areas accurately- Connect systems to fuel and water supply lines, air ducts, and other components- Test installed systems to ensure they function properly and make necessary adjustments- Ensure all work complies with current HVAC codes and safety standards- Communicate effectively with customers and team members to ensure customer satisfaction- Complete all required documentation and reports accurately and on timeRequired Qualifications:- High school diploma or equivalent- Valid driver's license and insurable by the company’s insurance carrier- Minimum of 3-5 years of HVAC installation experience- Strong understanding of HVAC systems, components, and installation procedures- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical manuals- Proficiency in using HVAC tools and equipment- Good communication and interpersonal skills- Ability to work independently and as part of a team- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills- Commitment to safety and adherence to safety protocolsPhysical Demands:- Ability to lift and carry up to 100 pounds- Comfortable working from ladders and in confined spaces- Manual dexterity to manipulate tools and equipment- Ability to work in various weather conditionsWork Environment: - Exposure to outdoor environments and extreme temperatures- Occasional high levels of dust and noise- On-site work at residential and commercial locations Benefits- 401(k) and Roth 401(k)- 401(k) Matching 3.5%- Medical, Dental and Vision Insurance 100% paid- Paid Time Off, Sick Leave and 7 paid Holidays per year.- Company Car- Company Parties- Employee discounts- Tool program- Progressive longevity bonus, $250 per year
