We are seeking a seasoned, licensed Health and Life Insurance Agent to assist our Regional Vice President of Sales with pre-set client appointments throughout Arkansas.
This position is designed for an experienced agent who is comfortable meeting with clients, assessing their insurance needs, explaining available coverage options, and helping clients complete the enrollment process. Appointments will be scheduled in advance, allowing the agent to focus on providing a professional client experience and converting qualified opportunities into sales.
Full-time availability is preferred, although qualified candidates seeking part-time work may also be considered.
Key Responsibilities
- Attend pre-set client appointments throughout Arkansas
- Assist the Regional Vice President of Sales with client meetings and enrollment activity
- Review clients’ health, life, and supplemental insurance needs
- Explain coverage options clearly and accurately
- Provide professional plan recommendations based on each client’s needs
- Complete applications and required enrollment documentation
- Follow up with clients when additional information is needed
- Maintain accurate appointment and client records
- Follow all carrier, company, state, and federal compliance requirements
- Communicate appointment outcomes and sales activity to the Regional Vice President
- Represent the organization professionally in both individual and group settings
Ideal Candidate
The ideal candidate is an experienced insurance professional who can step into scheduled appointments with confidence. This person should be dependable, professional, comfortable traveling, and capable of building trust quickly with prospective clients.
This is not an entry-level opportunity. Candidates must already be licensed and have prior insurance sales experience.
Schedule and Travel
- Appointment schedule may include daytime and occasional evening appointments
- Travel throughout Arkansas is required
- Appointment locations will vary based on client needs
- The position will be posted in Little Rock, but the territory covers the entire state
Compensation
Compensation Starting at $15 per hour. Additional commission on completed sales
Requirements
Required Qualifications
- Active Arkansas Health and Life Insurance license
- Previous health and life insurance sales experience
- Proven ability to conduct client appointments and close sales
- Strong understanding of insurance products, terminology, and enrollment processes
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Comfortable traveling throughout Arkansas
- Reliable transportation and a valid driver’s license
- Ability to work independently while supporting regional sales leadership
- Strong organizational and follow-up skills
- Comfortable using basic CRM, email, and digital enrollment systems
Preferred Qualifications
- Several years of insurance sales experience
- Experience working with pre-set appointments or provided leads
- Experience with individual health, life, supplemental, or worksite products
- Experience conducting both individual and group presentations
- Established history of meeting sales or production goals
- Availability to work full-time
