Experienced Line Cook

The Experienced Line Cook plays a crucial role in ensuring efficient kitchen operations in a small team environment. Reporting directly to the Head Chef and Kitchen Manager, this position demands expertise in food preparation, ingredient management, and maintaining high standards of sanitation and quality. The role involves working standard kitchen shifts, including weekends and holidays, with occasional participation in special event catering.

Responsibilities

• Prepare ingredients and cook menu items according to recipes and quality standards
• Manage station setup and plating to ensure timely and attractive food presentation
• Maintain sanitation and health compliance throughout food preparation areas
• Monitor inventory and assist in ingredient management
• Collaborate effectively with kitchen team members to fulfill orders efficiently
• Conduct quality control to maintain consistency and taste
• Support order fulfillment during peak hours and special catering events

Required Qualifications

• Certified in Serv Safe food handling
• Strong food preparation and knife skills
• Knowledge of sanitation and safety practices
• Excellent time management and multitasking abilities
• Teamwork and communication skills
• Attention to detail in food quality and presentation

Preferred Qualifications

• 2+ years experience in culinary arts
